Frequently asked questions
How much money do I need to retire?
Estimate your future monthly expenses (adjusted for inflation), multiply by the years you expect to spend in retirement, and discount by your post-retirement return. The retirement calculator does this for you and shows the monthly SIP needed to reach that corpus.
How is EPF interest calculated?
EPF interest is calculated on the running monthly balance at the government-declared rate (8.25% for FY 2025-26) and credited yearly. Both your 12% contribution and the employer's 3.67% EPF share compound over time.
What return does a mutual fund SIP give?
Equity mutual fund SIPs have historically returned about 10–14% per year over long periods, though returns vary with the market. Use the mutual fund calculator to project SIP, step-up SIP or lumpsum growth at your chosen rate.
